Our flagship sauce!

Our version of the classic South African condiment Piri-Piri Sauce (or Peri Peri Sauce, as it's known in some circles)!  A magical Thai-Asian-inspired mix of caramelized onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes and peri-peri peppers — small red chilies that pack some powerful back heat. 

Winner of the 2012 Hot Pepper Award for Best Ethnic Sauce, winner of the 2013 Cajun Hot Sauce Festival Award for Best African Sauce, and winner of the 2013 Hot Pepper Award for Best Exotic Pepper Sauce.  Tasting Notes:  Thick and unctuous, with a base of roasted onion, garlic and ginger that coats the palate, followed by the umami of roasted tomato and the earthy punch of red chili pepper.  Think Thai-inspired curry but without the coconut.  Ingredients:  Onions, Water, Canola Oil, Tomato Paste, Apple Cider Vinegar, Ginger, Garlic, Sea Salt, Sugar, Paprika, Peri-Peri Peppers, Xanthan Gum.  HEAT LEVEL: Medium SCOVILLE HEAT UNIT RANGE (ESTIMATED): 3000-7000 SHU (dependent on harvests)
